Galactic Citizen is Estelar Online’s citizenship: a 30-day period in which the pilot gets conveniences and cosmetic items. It helps pay for the server, voice and photos, and it can be bought with money or earned by playing, with Citizenship Seals.
The main rule: citizenship never gives a combat advantage. Nothing in it makes your ship stronger, faster or tougher. Strength comes from your level, your attribute points and the items you earn by playing.
How to become a citizen

The paths stack: buying or redeeming seals before your time is up adds another 30 days from the end of the current period. The game warns you 3 days before your citizenship runs out.
Identity and looks
- The ★ star next to your name: in space, on foot, in chat, in the feed and on your public page.
- One exclusive item per month of citizenship, which is yours forever.
- 10% off cosmetic items in the garage (the paint and suit shop).
- Exclusive filters and frames when editing photos.
- A border on your feed posts, a photo pinned to the top of your profile and named collections on your public page, plus styles for planet cards.
Convenience
- Up to 40 listings on the market at once, instead of 20.
- 2 garage slots sponsored by the Stellar Authority, rent-free while you’re a citizen. When your citizenship ends, they start charging normal rent (see Garages).
- Access to the Galactic Citizens’ bars, at about one in every four kiosks.
- Unlimited emergency tow (other pilots get one free per day).
- REFUEL HERE (Esc menu): buys fuel from anywhere, at the price of the fuel station in the system you’re in.
- Automatic renewal of your war license on its last valid day, paying the normal fee.
What citizenship doesn’t change
Section titled “What citizenship doesn’t change”Citizens pay the same as everyone else for the cost of playing: fuel, repairs and the war license have no discount. There’s also no tradable citizenship voucher on the market, and no paid loot boxes.
Other purchases
Section titled “Other purchases”Everything you can buy in Estelar Online is cosmetic or convenience:

In the season pass, each tier is a whole level’s worth of experience, and points count from the start of the season, even before you buy: if you buy later, the tiers you’ve already reached unlock right away. The items stay with you when the season ends, and only the current season’s pass is on sale. Corporation items are covered in Corporations.
