Community
The COMMUNITY screen (Esc menu › COMMUNITY) brings together three things that reward playing with others: the day’s community missions, the rented ship from the Stellar Authority for anyone who lost their ship, and invites for bringing in friends. The idea is that you can keep playing without paying for fuel at the station, just by taking part in the game’s social life.
Community missions
Section titled “Community missions”These are actions in the game’s social areas, checked by the server itself. Each mission counts once a day and pays fuel, Citizenship Seals and a few credits:
| Mission | Fuel | Seals | Credits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Post a photo to the feed | +30 | +2 | +50 ¢ |
| Like 3 photos from other pilots | +20 | +1 | +30 ¢ |
| Comment on another pilot's photo | +20 | +1 | +30 ¢ |
| Make a direct trade with another pilot | +30 | +2 | +50 ¢ |
| Play a match to the end | +30 | +1 | +50 ¢ |
| Enter a bar where another pilot already is | +20 | +1 | +30 ¢ |
Added up, a day’s missions give 150 fuel, a tank and a half for the starter ship. Fuel goes into the tank up to its limit.
Rules for them to count:
- Likes and comments only count on other pilots’ photos, and the same photo doesn’t count twice.
- A direct trade counts once per partner (see Market).
- The match has to be played to the end (see Matches).
- The bar has to have another pilot inside when you walk in.
- Progress resets every day (UTC). The screen shows how much is left for each mission.
Posting, liking and commenting happen in the feed.
Rented ship (the right to space access)
Section titled “Rented ship (the right to space access)”Nobody gets stuck on the ground. Anyone who loses their ship in PvP immediately gets a ship rented from the Stellar Authority, with a full tank, for 3 days.
- It’s equivalent to the starter ship (Multipurpose) and shows up at the SHIPYARD as “rented from the Stellar Authority until…”.
- It has no insurance: if it’s destroyed, there’s no coverage.
- Each community mission you complete while flying it adds 1 day of rental, up to 7 days ahead.
- Each invite tier paid out to you adds 2 days, with the same cap.
- Once the term runs out, the ship has no warp until it’s renewed. You can renew it with missions and invites, or buy a new ship at the SHIPYARD.
Invites
Section titled “Invites”Every pilot has an invite link with their own code (estelaronline.com/jogar?ref=CODE), shown on the COMMUNITY screen with a COPY button. The link only works when creating an account: whoever joins through it gets a welcome pack (full tank, components and scrap).
The reward comes in tiers, when the invited player actually plays, never just for signing up. Each tier pays once per invited player:
| When the invited player… | The inviter gets | The invited player gets |
|---|---|---|
| Reaches level 5, having played on 3 different days, within 30 days of joining | 84 seals and a full tank | 24 seals |
| Reaches level 15 | 84 seals and 1 t of iridium | 1 t of iridium |
| Buys Galactic Citizen for the first time | 30 days of Galactic Citizen | 84 seals |
Invite seals don’t count toward the daily seal limit, but they expire like the others. If the inviter is offline, they get everything at their next login.
Cap: each pilot qualifies up to 10 invited players per month (the level 5 tier). Beyond that, the tier for that invited player doesn’t pay.
Recruiters of the month
Section titled “Recruiters of the month”The COMMUNITY screen shows your list of invited players (with the tiers each one has reached), how many you qualified this month and the RECRUITERS OF THE MONTH leaderboard, with the ten pilots who qualified the most invited players.
