Ship classes

Every ship in Estelar Online has a class. The class multiplies the attributes that come from your level, your attribute points and your equipment: a Mining ship at level 10 has the same base engine as a Fighter at level 10, but it’s slower and carries a lot more ore.

No class is the best at everything. Picking a ship means picking what you want to do.

Every pilot starts with the Multipurpose: it does a bit of everything without shining at anything. You can’t buy it at the shipyard, but it has a value for insurance and for the war license, and it’s the only one with 100% coverage if it’s destroyed in PvP.

The numbers below come straight from the game. “+25%” means 25% above the starter ship; “—” means the same as it.

New ships are sold at the SHIPYARD of any station (dock and open the tab). Each class requires a minimum level and credits. To own a second ship, your current one needs somewhere to go: rent a garage slot at the same station before buying, and the old ship is stored there, with its own hold and fuel.

Each class has its own tank. Warp burns 0.5 fuel per second, and an interstellar warp charges 10 on departure.
